Both the 59 and the 60, from the back window back, were designed by a stylist I worked with in the early 80's. He helped me on a 64 van I was building back then. I have a thing for the 59, 60 Chevy dashes, I've used them on two of the cars I built around 2007. It took me some time before the rearends grew on me, the dashes I've loved since I was a kid.
When we were kids we'd buy truck inner tubes. In the summer we used them in the pool and in the winter we'd sled ride with them. My mother always told me I was going to poke my eye out on the long valve stems.
