I'm pretty sure that is a 1950's Nash Ambassador .. I could be wrong . Tatras had their engine in the rear if I remember correctly..Still an ugly car
You're right, but I think Mr Cranium meant tHat era....
Interesting that it brought Tatra to mind; most don't know what those were! [and yes, they had rear mounted engines, the most famous being a hemi headed V8]

You should save it. One of 3 that I know about with Canadian Sport Package. No one knows how many were built, as it was merely an option on Polara. Same with Canadian-built Polara 500. In U.S. Polara 500 was a separate series with known production numbers. Your picture shows how the Canadian Polara interior was not as ornate as U.S., using Plymouth Fury door cards. Compare these to the U.S. ones I used on my Polara. The factory bucket seats in my 4-door car resemble the tapered seats more commonly seen in 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury, not the normal Polara 500 seats. 2-door hardtop and convertible Sport Package Polaras that I have seen used the normal Polara 500 seats, however. A little imagination and some Black vinyl dye made these formerly red panels POP. Also, all the interior window garnish moldings in my Canadian 4-door Polara were painted, but I replaced them with the chrome pieces from my U.S. parts car. I added the long front door arm rests to my rear doors. They bolted right on with no modifications.

Our granddaughter has the buckets in the 64 Polara 25th anniversary drag car. The console is in the shed. Taillights are in storage. 313 car. I purchased this car the way it is. If i were to do it, which I can’t feature, I have a non original 313 and trans. Rad grille.

Dave. I think I mentioned this in a post a long time ago.
There was a new red one like yours sold by our local small town dealer. 383 auto. Think it had red/white interior. Their daughter Sheri sure knew how to get the most out of that car.
The other exciting car sold was a white, black top 383 Polara convertible, it had buckets etc. it was cream of the cream.

One of Georgia’s best (and easiest) paddling destinations is George L. Smith State Park in eastern Georgia. You may have seen photos of this gorgeous covered bridge and mill pond dotted with cypress trees. Camp under Spanish moss and launch your kayak or fishing boat to spend the day exploring. Birding is exceptional, so bring your binoculars.
