Okay I found this thread and so actually the PCV does go on drivers side and breather on passenger side. Now the only question I have is can I T the vacuum hose for the snorkel butterfly valves to the PCV line hooked to the carb, and will there be enough vacuum to operate both? Any help would be appreciated.

For the vacuum hoses that operate the butterfly valves. Can I T that line into the PCV line that goes to the carb?

Not that one. The one on the intake manifold. Usually there's a nipple for the brake booster with a tiny port ( or two, or three, etc. ) for the thin vacuum hoses.

My Edelbrock manifold has no intake ports. The only ports I have are on the carb. One is being used for the brakes, the other for the PCV. That’s why I keep asking is it okay to tap into the PCV. I don’t want to tap into either one but if I have to choose one, I choose PCV over brakes. Now will this be enough vacuum to clear the gases from the PCV valve and operate the butterfly valves on the air cleaner. I am assuming that what the vacuum lines on the air box are for. To operate those valves on the snorkel. Do those valves fail open or closed without vacuum?

Okay let me take a look. As I said, I don’t have the car here, and it went to the shop right after I bought it, so I haven’t spent a lot of time with it. That being said we, me and the shop, did look for a port on the intake and didn’t find anything.

In your defense, it's pretty well hidden with a holley, and especially with the heat block shield

The picture above is is my manifold. Did a 360 view and the only port is in the back. Did a 360 view on a 4150 Holley and it only has one port not two like I thought. I thought my brakes were hooked to the Holley in the back but they are actually hooked to the only port on the intake, which is in the back right below the carburetor. The PCV is hooked to the only port on the carburetor on the front. So back to my original question, can I Tee off the PCV?

I thought my brakes were hooked to the Holley in the back but they are actually hooked to the only port on the intake, which is in the back right below the carburetor. The PCV is hooked to the only port on the carburetor on the front. So back to my original question, can I Tee off the PCV?

Yep same manifold, the best answer is post #28. Teeing in to the pcv line would be the worst of the 2 options. Just stick to factory. Vacuum from the intake vacuum port.

If I had to share vacuum with either the brakes or the PCV, I would prefer not to share with the brakes. They are kinda more important than a PCV valve. If I tie into the PCV valve will it work? Will the butterfly valve dampers work on the snorkels? Why is teeing into the PCV the worst option? Some people don’t even run a PCV, but that’s another topic for discussion.

No, no, no, no, no. You install the port fitting like the one I showed you into the intake hole. You run the booster off the large nipple, and you run the air cleaner hose off the small nipple. Ask yourself, what is the PCV system... then, you'll have your answer. "Sharing" the vacuum ?? makes no sense.

there will be no vacuum loss in the snorkel system. So the point is moot, and the booster is it's own reservoir. All big chryslers had lots of stuff teed in with the factory vacuum port, that's what it's there to do

Yes but poorly. The pcv is a constant open vacuum leak.

lower vacuum signal, possibility of introducing oil vapors into the the snorkel system

I might add, the snorkels default to open operation. What is the concern to make them close when cold. Trying to enhance cold start warm up?
