In 1967, I transplanted a fairly new 383, 4-speed powertrain into my recently purchased 1962 Dart. I went to McKerlies, a local parts jobber, and ordered new head pipes for a '62 Dart with 383, and dual exhaust. Somehow, the guy ordering parts got it wrong. When I went to pick up my new pipes, I was handed the Max Wedge front head pipes with dumps. It was about $30.00, so I had them send it back!
