I was clearing out my small tool carry bag just minutes ago, when I heard a noise nobody likes to hear. The Harris D814 Punch-down tool that I have used since about 2010, dropped on the garage floor and the case just shattered to bits. No amount of Superglue will fix this - the pressure exerted on the tool to make it function will easily break any glue-job.
I have sent an SOS to a Tool House I found online....as luck would have it, nobody in New Zealand sells the same tool. I don't like buying cheap stuff, so I am going to wait and see if I can replace with the same tool.
Case is cracked in about three places.....it is toast now.
