I would have thought a 383 Cuda would have the performance hood?

It's not a 'Cuda, it's a Barracuda.

Possibly a Gran Coupe, but I don't see the GC "shield" emblem.

383-4 (and then the 400-4) was available in almost any B/E body or larger Mopar at almost any time.

I might be wrong, but I don't think any Barracuda (or 'Cuda) ever had a 400. Starting in 1972, I think all that was available were the slant 6 and small blocks. The most potent engine starting in 72 was the 340.

That wasn't my point.

The 400 replaced the 383 in 1972 for B body cars, and my point was that prior to 1972, the 383-4 was available in any non-A body mopar.

1972 and after, the 400 was. Although no more big block E bodies were available, the 400-4 was available in B body and larger cars.

You just made me type out more.
