Dont know how I got lucky, I think it was I had it striped and ready to go. There was a 70 GTO before mine and they have not touched it. Needs to be pulled apart.
 
Make a template from the old bumper and drill the two holes.
If I drill the new bumper wouldnt that discolor the chrome on it? I dont know how chrome reacts to heat,thats why Im asking Pete

A good, sharp drill bit will minimize the potential for heat Dave.
A dull bit will get hot in a hurry, that’s what you want to avoid.
