I upgraded my wiring harness, and also the alternator doing so the meter no longer is compatible with this set up. I have to switch to a volt meter gauge any suggestions on what gauge will go right into the stock rally cluster ? Thanks. Is it also plug-in play or am I gonna have to wire it own power power and ground

You are going to have to make it fit and you will have to wire it. No easy plug and play.

I have seen threads where fellas took the factory amp meter out and put in an aftermarket voltmeter reusing the original gauge face. Let me see if I can find the thread.

I just had mine converted by Auto Instruments. They redid my whole cluster so I just opted for that also.

It was a sticky thread in the electrical forums. Found this writeup on how to convert your Amp gauge to a Volt meter.

I used Sunpro 2" Voltmeter CP8205. Took it apart and everything fit right in my standard dash.
