Before I pull down my brand new headliner, how are the OEM shoulder harnesses mounted?
All I have are the clips that mount near the sun visors to attach to, when not in use. I need to track down everything else. Before I do, I want to make sure I CAN mount them before taking everything apart.

Thanks, in advance.

I’m not sure, but i suspect there is a nut welded into the roof/window area in case you got that option. You should be able to feel it through the headliner

The mounting hole should be easy enough to feel then just put a small X slit for the bolt to go through. I can't say where it is exactly on the Charge BUT if you feel along between the bows there will be a wider plate in that area and the holes are a couple inches up. DO NOT pull off your headliner to do this - with patience and some other members kicking in info you'll be able to locate the holes.

All the holes will be there in your car. My 68 Charger did not have the shoulder belts but I installed them when I built mine. I looked for pictures but didn't find where the clips went but I found one showing the anchor hole location. Hope it helps.

I can not feel them, so researching to confirm I'm checking the right area. I've pretty much felt up my entire liner lol

I found those pictures. They help with location but not with what I need to mount them. Just a bolt, I guess.

I spent two hours searching. Will continue.

This does. Now I know which shape to feel for, thank you. I'll report bank with (hopefully) results!

Snap is to attach the loose end of the shoulder harness when its latched to the bracket at the sun visor. The shoulder harness has an elastic sewed onto the loose end.

Coat hooks are available on the aftermarket.

Well, got' damn. I was probably checking everywhere but right...... Here. ...
As a bonus I DO have coat hooks. Broken. Lol
