I liked it the minute I saw it and still do:thumbsup:

Looks about right!
Maybe... i'm just not happy... maybe the rims shoulda been red.... Also kinda wanna fix the paint.. but everything from bout 8" up on the quarters is the original paint (which i rubbed through in spots trying to save it) least i don't need to worry bout scratches :)

Yeah, i think the black rims are too dark... i'm not gonna try to paint them with the tires on though.. i know how that works out :)
Here is my 62 with red wheels and 63 with black. Played around with them for a while before getting what I think is the right look! Remember it’s your car, what do you like?!

Problem is my brain won't let me settle on what i like :) I kinda like the bottom one... i have my front rims stripped and ready for paint.. might go red and black like yours,...
Car color in the front and black in the back is pretty much the Saturday night go to look. My dad who was cruising Woodward avenue back in 62 said they would grab an extra set of wheels at the junk yard, slap some wider retread tires on them and use as a second set of wheels for the rear. Saturday rolls around pull your factory stuff on the rear and slap on the retreads. Wheels were most always painted black no worry about a color match! lol. Pull the slicks on Sunday, put the factories back on and go to work on Monday. Hence the look on the 63. Seen it all the time. My family was cruising Woodward avenue in Detroit from 1957 all the way to 1990!
