Hey guys this will be my build thread . I'm more collecting parts at this point . The car is a 73 Rallye charger factory yellow black interior.318 with a floor shift auto . It's in relatively good condition for it's age I'm in need of front fenders the driver side is a must the pass I can work with but would prefer a better fender . The car came to me with no drive line besides the rear witch is a 9 1/4 sure grip . I've since found and bought a rebuilt 360 and 904 ,guy lied about the trans or didn't know he said it was a 727 but after driving 2 hr to get the setup I wasn't going to turn it down over that . It actually came with a 69 barracuda k frame with disc brakes and power steer gear box, I'll be selling that stuff off . The 360 has a march pulley setup on it cam eld intake and carb with under 3000 miles on everything ,guy was doing a Gen 3 hemi swap to his fully restored cuda ....name of the game for my car is bring it back mostly stock few upgrades here and there. This will be a long drawn out build as I'm very poor and have a broken back but my first car was a 74 charger and I'm determined to drive one again .

I wish you all the success in the world with it!

My first car was a 73 Charger and I would love to clone it. Don't see it happening but a man can dream!

Looks like you have a wee bit of rust to take care of. Great start though.

Welcome aboard! I'll be interested in your journey with your Rallye. I have one (a '74) that I'm working on as time/$$$ permit.

Well I decided to start my motor before I reseal it and paint it a diff color . Sadly I got everything ready to fire hit the switch and nothing but starter turning ...... The guy I got it from failed to mention he swiped the torq converter bolts out of it ! So I got to wait ordered new bolts from summit

If you didn't already know, the converter bolt holes are not evenly spaced apart. You'll get one hooked and the others are off. Once you have them in proper position, then toss some blue Loctite on one at a time.

Yeah I remember that from long ago when I was younger I found that out the hard way thanks for the heads up

Love it. Can't wait to see your progress

Got motor to run so time to brake it down to clean it up and reseal it /paint it

Then stopped at a buddy that has two parts cars and grabbed a good rear seat core (my seat bottom was rusted away)and a drive shaft ! (Needed one that fit that rebuilt 904 I picked up the one I had was for a 727)

Got the rear bumper brackets from a 71 charger so I can tuck the bumper in now . I am going to start repairs on the trunk gutter areas that have rust . Got with a guy that has a parts car he's cutting the needed metal out for me so I don't have to hand fabricate it . So a little is going on
