I have been building a 1968 Charger over the past year ..
it's got its original quarters , wheel houses, and cabin Floor.. the trunk floor was replaced but not because of rust.. somebody literally took a hatchet and chopped a hole in the trunk floor to get to the fuel lines at the gas tank.. so it has a new two-piece trunk floor all welded together and painted..

(I'm the world's greatest body man, over 50 years experience.)

So we're getting pretty close on getting the paint on it.
Right now it's at the interior shop getting a correct black vinyl top and a new headliner put in ..
it came to me in Earl Scheib bright green .. but it was born red with black vinyl top we're going back to the red.

FYI I seen one on FB MP at a decent price

His car is already a half breed. 68 rear with a 69 front. Look at the side markers.
I cant see the markers on the front fenders but thats an easy fix for a body guy.

Dang..
I was hoping we could just buy a center Grill section
Our headlights /Headlight doors won't work with the 68 Grill?

This car was very solid. Was raced some..Drag Raced localy, KilKare Dragway.. and apparently kept indoors most of it's life.
Belongs to a famous Realtor.

Some of the components like the steel shell, actuators, and misc. will be the same the rest is different. By the time you buy and fit everything you will have a lot of money into it. I would find a 68 complete and sell off what you have.

The doors are not 1968 either
Yepper.. we are aware of that and we like the 'harder to Jimmy' door locks. We don't want to mess with that success.
And another thing I'm sayin' about those doors.. MAN they are nice OEM doors.. Rust free in every way they can be.. lol.
I don't know how or Why those doors got on the car.. but they were red at one point. So they've been on there for a while.. B4 Earl Schieb..
