I've never known their burgers to be good... but they were edible at least in the 70s. Sorta.

Back around ‘85 or so, my dad had a chance to buy a purple 70 RR out of the tow yard where he worked. It had a painted on gold strobe stripe that went over the roof and down the c-piller and top side of the quarter panel to the end of the trunk above the tail lights. I was lobbying hard for him to buy it but he wasn’t having it. It was faded and sun baked. He likely knew it was used up junk, but I loved it. The top pic kinda reminded me of it.
