OEM Glue removal

Has anyone come up with a secret sauce recipe for removing 56 year old Glue from the floorboards?

Couldn't find anything in the search.
I'm thinking 3M adhesive remover (spendy), Acetone,

I just read somewhere Behr sells an adhesive remover...which I'm thinking will be cheaper than 3M.

I'm half considering brakeclean..lol

Thoughts?

I would try a little bit of Goo Gone small container for a sample. If it’s that old, should be brittle and scrape off. Probably if you tried a heat gun it might turn to goo.
You didn’t mention inside or outside. I assume inside, don’t know of any glue on the outside.

Got a picture of what you’re trying to remove? I’m trying to think what would have been glued to a floor board.

OEM 1969 Jute Carpet Pad was glued down to the floorpans. I just removed the original carpet. It's that yellow tinge....those floors are showing original B3 paint

I would try a little bit of GOOF OFF.

It removes undercoating as well.
Let it soak in.

Used to have to order online, now iirc it's available at local stores.
This stuff removed all the undercoat on my Dart.

It dosent vacuum. It's glue...stuck to the floor..originally installed to keep the Jute padding and carpet in place during interior assembly. So it's kinda sticky..and stinky. Plus the Killmat won't stick to it well. So I need to clean it up.
