I took off the front, but I couldn’t get the harness out to paint the bucket. I did the from part, but not the larger part.
How the hell does the harness come out?

Pull the front headlight cover. Pull the bulbs. Take pic of wiring. Remove wires from connector. Pull wires out of hole.

Thats the problem I was having. I couldn't get the wires out of the terminals.
Take pictures.
Needle nose or screw driver to bend the locking blade barb in and pull

I was trying that, but maybe I was Bumfing it right.
Before I bought a set of tools to deal with all the terminals I used a packing staple with great success. Those staples are everywhere around the back of stores who receive large boxes. Straighten out one end to make an "L" and shove the long end into the open end of the terminal so that it flattens the barb that is preventing the wire from pulling out. You can see the barb if you look into the end. Once you have pushed the staple in, gently pull the wire out.
To replace the wire, gently bend the barb out away from the terminal and push the terminal/wire back into the plastic holder.
