Hoping to learn to appreciate whiskey, my son got me this

Every year, I make a trip to the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, with my friend Rob, whom many of you have met at the FBBO tent. He worked with me in the tank truck business for many years, and back in the day, was a body man at the dealership that sold my GTX. Some years we come down in a GTX, some years we take Rob's Dodge Ram. One thing we do every trip, is finish off a bottle of premium single malt scotch over the weekend. This year's bottle was given to me by Rob two years ago when I retired. He got extra time off this year, so we are going to make it last from Thursday thru Saturday.

haven't been a beer drinker in years; but years ago, Moosehead was the "go to" :drinks:
Bought a 12 pack of Moosehead beer this morning.
Not that much of a beer drinker, but come to find out i like that brand.
A 12 pack is costing $19.00 bucks, and hope tariffs don't kick in the next time i want to purchase some, raising the price.

Wow, you mean beer brewed in your own country costs more than what i have been purchasing if for, here in California, USA?
In Saskatchewan we can get 15 12 oz cans for 32.00. And it comes from another Province. That’s probably about 24.00 US. Didn’t bother to look up the exchange rate.

A 15 pack of 12 oz. cans of Labatt's Blue is $14 here. We always enjoyed it while fishing Lake of the Woods in Ontario.

It has been a while but I brew my own. I don't drink much beer any more. I'm into Bourbon and Rye instead. Octoberfest in the video.

24 regular cans in Ontario are $51.50 cdn + 2.40 can deposit. 53.90, about $40 US.
+5% gst +6% pst +10% LST over here anyway

My mistake, they built the pst into the liquor tax. Yay
