On a 68 charger with factory buckets, the seat backs lean too far back. Mine have no “adjustment “, and i need a more straight up seatback for my back.
It rests on 2 pins when in position. Any tricks/fixes out there for a more upright seat back?

Maybe a small spacer under the rear mounts of the seats? The sedans had 1/2 plywood spacers under all the mounts under the bench seat.

Currently there are spacers in the seat rear bolts, i removed the front spacers. Im looking for the seat back only to be more upright…thanks

I believe the pins are threaded into the seat frames. First idea that comes to mind is to take a section of solid bar stock (round) and cut a wafer, say 1/2" thick. Drill a hole in it offset to one side big enough for the pin to pass through. Now drill a small hole into the edge of the wafer, run a tap through it and insert a set screw. Now remove the pin, slide the wafer over it and re-install. Do this on both sides.

What you are after is an eccentric that you can move around until you find a position that is comfortable for your back and then lock it down with the set screw. The seat back release is another matter.
