I'm headed to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for a week camping trip for our anniversary. I'm looking for :

Things to do
Things to see
Restaurants - no chains, i can find them anywhere

We've been there before for a short stay and saw some of the major stuff (Cades cove, Clingmans Dome, etc.) We've would like to see more of the scenery and not tourist traps.
But more importantly - THE FOOD!

If there is any members near there, they will have local knowledge.??

Oh, and maybe some car related stuff too wouldn't hurt if I happened to just stumble upon it.

If it's still there visit the Muscle Car Museum. It has a lot of Chevys in there but a cool place.

Find the nearest Buc-ees super duper gas station somewhere... go for their deli sample jerky, lots of stuff to sample ! Omg the restrooms are like golden! The places are awesome! It’s a stop in it self!

Happy Anniversary too!

Folks talk a little uniquely down there compared to you Jersey boys Eldubb so don’t be alarmed..

Just kidding Tenn is my one of my favorite states! It’s wonderful place... pigeon forge is a tourist trap and kinda pricey but don’t worry just roll with it!

The folks down there are pretty genuine too.

Lynchburg is a little bit of a drive but recommended to go see the Jack Daniels Distillery.

I wear bib overalls, weather permitting :soapbox:

Duh, it's your anniversary and you'll be alone, in a tent or camper. I could think of a couple of things to do

BTW Happy Anniversary! :)
Well, that will only keep me busy for a few minutes.
No tent, it's an RV Clark!
