I think I bought a huge piece of **** and I dont think this will ever be drivable. No matter how much work and time I put into this Charger, I just keep getting it up my ***. I'm having the feeling I never should have bought this car. Problem is, I have more money into it then Its worth. :BangHead: Its a cool car and all, but I'm losing hope.

Pictures? what are you fighting with? Took me over a year of fighting the ignition and my own ignorance just to get mine running you can do it!

Problem is also my wife has a never ending list of **** to do, and Im trying hard to get this car going and its never ending as well.

Everything. The prior owner did allot of stuff and its not right. Now Im stuck trying to figure it out.

I am currently there right now, cleaning up after a wind storm. and plenty of in house chores need to get the charging system sorted. What is the current problem you are trying to tackle, easier to after smaller bites.

Sometimes taking a step back for a week or two and clearing your mind will help. And in that time you can chop down the honeydo list as well.

Tell her to get off of HER *** and do some of the stuff that she wants YOU to do.

Good advise... Take a step back and one thing at a time.
Plenty of knowledge available here, just pick a topic and post about your issue(s) with enough details. These car can be a challenge especially if systems were modified and botched in the process by the previous owner.

I made a rule with my current car.. i only work on it when i feel like working on it.. if you force yourself it will make you nuts.. Also.. take small bites, it took me almost 3 years to get my car where i can drive it and i still have a massive list i'm unhappy with... some guys here have taken over 10, it should be something you enjoy working on

:xscuseless:Someone here was going to post this, I figured it mites well be me.:drinks:

FYI,
since you are new here, and welcome aboard, to navigate to the site memes starting at the top line “B” go half way across and tap the 3 vertical dots. Then the next line appears and then tap the smiley face. I think you want a smile on your face and the good folks here will give it a try to help. “To Do Lists” are just part of being partners. Realize that.
Now on to your quest and resolution for your ‘67 Charger.

All good advice. I bought and stripped down my 68 Roadrunner and the more I took it apart, the more daunting the restoration began to look. I was cutting out the floorpan and began to think I should just cut the car up and scrap it. My brother who has done loads of restos of cars with some history to them, said"We can save it!" That gave me the courage to forge ahead. We replaced framerails and wheel houses, inner fenders, rad support, trunk pan, quarters, dutchman panel, and loads of other parts. (Maybe shouldn't reveal all this?).
Anyway, you can save the car if your heart is in it. Mine was and is the car I always wanted.
I smile everytime I drive it. It's a freakin beast!
So, as other members said, take it in small bites and step away when it overwelms you .
Ask away here and we will give the answers needed.
In the end you will be so proud of the job you did.
Aint nothing better that the satisfaction of a job completed.
And you can then show it off to the world.
Keep going, you got this!

24 years this past July 8th for me. I won the bid on EBAY...it's my wife's birthday. I still don't think she realizes that. In my defense....I remember the date because it's my wife's birthday not because of the car.
