I am considering ordering a carpet kit for my 66 Charger from Classic Industries. Has anyone ordered carpet from them? Did it have all the pieces and did it fit well? Any recommendations and comments on ordering carpet from someone else? The 66-67 has so many pieces that I want good quality kit along with everything cut and bound correctly to fit well. Thanks.

I thought Fine69 sold them and possibly Rock Auto. Try and get one that hasn’t been on a shelf for months because they will take a set? Lose shape. I used to order and install it shortly after receiving it. Forgot to do this one, car is taking longer than I expected. I ended up steaming the carpet in places, laying down plastic and putting weights on it to reshape.

Yeah, they are all made by ACC. Check wirh Rock Auto, the last 2 I bought were the cheapest there.

My wife got me a full interior kit for Christmas from OC Auto Carpet and it is perfect. All pieces needed and fit great (some easy trimming needed)

Whoever you order from, be sure and test fit when you get the carpet to make sure they didn't send you a POS. I had to have them send another because the rubber foot mat was badly placed and there were melted burn holes on the passenger side. They didn't want the old one back. Bought from Rockauto.

Many about 36 years ago. We bought the first carpet set for the 67 from ACC. IIRC everything fit quite well. Next set 1996 might have dealt with Legondary. Next set 2017 came from Classic possibly. That was one of the son’s car. Then I bought the one for this car from National Moparts, which I let sit too long in the box. Heel pad was not placed correctly. At my age it just wasn't worth the aggravation to send it back. But it is in.

You got through to them. Boldly states 1966 now

Hopefully, the main issue was that the 67 kit didn't have the front console back carpet and the molded piece for the rear console was a crappy piece. Made them send me a section of carpet and I came up with my own process to fit. Also be careful when you order a carpet kit. Make sure all the pieces are there and are all the same 80/20 loop. ACC tried to pass off a different black piece for my rear console. Another reason for the replacement piece.

If you haven't ordered it yet and the same kit (I see at least) is on Summit. Hit me up and I'll get you a 10% off coupon. It's listed for the same price on Summit

Thanks all for the input. I'll have to do a little more research before I order anything.

Make sure that the heal pad is placed properly with the gas pedal resting on the top right corner of the heel pad.
