Still can't tell much from that one picture. Try holding the cell phone horizontally instead of vertically & take a few more all around, inside & under the hood.
This morning. All the interior needs is the seats to be done and carpet. Everything else just needs cleaning and the metal needs polishing.

Will do.Still can't tell much from that one picture. Try holding the cell phone horizontally instead of vertically & take a few more all around, inside & under the hood.
Absolutely. Vertical pictures look terrible.Still can't tell much from that one picture. Try holding the cell phone horizontally instead of vertically & take a few more all around, inside & under the hood.
Doesn’t look bad at all. Just be patient and things fall into place. The reward is a job well done and you had your hands in itThis morning. All the interior needs is the seats to be done and carpet. Everything else just needs cleaning and the metal needs polishing.

You're looking at it all wrongDoesn't look too bad in that tiny picture. Let me adjust my eyes.
This is the best advice anyone can get! Worked for me on numerous occasionsSometimes taking a step back for a week or two and clearing your mind will help. And in that time you can chop down the honeydo list as well.
Surely you have to laugh at this, a good one!Sounds like most days at work for me ...fixing up previous guys stupid workmanship.
Take a chill pill and small bite-sized pieces of the car problems.....making a list of issues might help.
Surely it can't be any worse than this Duster.....

One of the biggest problems I've encountered when building a project occurs when I start pushing forward too quickly. It seems like the harder I push the more it starts to cost, and when it starts costing more the frustration level goes right up there, too. I hear you, so take a step back to assess where you're at, before you burn out your enthusiasm.Everything. The prior owner did allot of stuff and its not right. Now Im stuck trying to figure it out.
I had to read that twice...first pass I saw that Syphilis was a Greek myth.I consider my cars to be the equivalent of the Sisyphus greek myth, punished to roll a stone up hill for eternity. You can either bitch about the punishment or revel in the task. And even Sisyphus took a break while the stone rolled back down the hill
Great advice here and that’s what I have to add to my projects as I do them (a timeline priority)Make a list, divide it into sections, then prioritize each thing in the sections as to what it will do to get the car running, if that’s your goal. If you need to buy parts for a particular assembly that is the priority for that section, make it a priority to find and purchase those parts, or sometimes order them well in advance. Example….
Interior….
Seat covers
Door panels
Carpet
Headliner
Armrest bases and pads
Guages and dash
Now my prioritized list….
Seat covers and door panels have a 10 month wait time, not top priority to get it running, but need to be ordered for the future
Carpet can be there in 3 days, but not needed to get it running
Headliner…again, maybe 3 days out unless it’s a special order color. Not needed to get the car running, but needs to be done before you put the seats and carpet back in.
Armrest bases and pads..not a priority to get it running but if you don’t have them to open and close the doors to drive it to the body shop, find some used or buy them new
Guages and dash….top priority to get it running if it has electrical issues. Concentrate on that in your labor schedule
Do this for every area of the car, put prices and timelines on each item in your sections, then concentrate on the items that need to be addressed immedietly to get it running, and parts that take a long time to get. And spend the money you have accordingly so you have the stuff you need when you need it, and work on the stuff that you can while you wait.
