Try something a little stronger we had back in the day in Brooklyn :

Polish Spirytus. And yes, it's flammable. My buddy actually demonstrated a fire-breathing exhibition with this stuff.

• 1 gallon apple juice
• 1 gallon apple cider
• 2 cups white sugar
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 1 pinch mulling spice
• 1 (750 milliliter) bottle 190 proof grain alcohol (Everclear)
• 1 (750 milliliter) bottle vanilla vodka
• Optional: cheese cloth and twine

You boil this for a bit to dissolve the sugar and cook off/evaporate at least a little bit of the fire. There are other recipes. I found this one first. We don;t use vanilla vodka, there is enough booze in it lol. But you can reduce the booze and sub in other stuff, like regular vanilla instead of more booze. More cinnamon sticks is usually better too.
If you try hard enough, you can make it taste like pie. If you don't care that much, it is some spiced cider that will warm your belly in no time flat.

I have found no other use for everclear outside of a torture device.

I tried to shoot a sip of the 190 years ago. Just frikin impossible! Nasty! But mixed in, give you one hell of a kick!

Where I grew up we had a few people in the area that made homemade vodka.
Some of it would burn with a blue flame.
When purchasing, The good producer would take a swallow out of bottle first to show honesty. If they wouldn’t, drive away.
Also people maintained don’t use mix and you won’t have a hangover.

I just posted an image from a search. I never read the label. I already knew what it was from personal experience. When we went over to a friends house in our youth, we raided the liquor cabinet. And found out the hard way what it was. Sorry for not using a magnifying glass to corroborate my casual comment.
