Ahhhh, not if it doesnt break.Weakening it by severe lightening seems is rather counterproductive for a cup car, or even a one-time 12? mile hill climb car.
Keep doing more of my projects. So what’s your plan on the finished project - Details
I do all my cars as raced. I’ve got stock vehicles also. But I prefer racedThe car is what it is.
I give hats off to the owner that's taking it back to as raced form.
Exactly how would one know what failed to cause a car to drive off a 14,000'+ mountain?Ahhhh, not if it doesnt break.
“We” disagree? We? so you know more than the guys that built cars for nascar! I’ll keep that in mind. Let’s see your hemi collection chief. School me more please. We disagree.
Got any pics or share proof/prints of an actual on track Hyde or Petty asphalt Cup car with a Swiss cheese K member?
Remember, these are the cars that many seek to duplicate with their 11/16" TR's and reinforced LCA's.
A K member is an integral part of the stiffness of the front chassis stiffness and on a TB car it is tasked with the full weight of the front of the car and a lot of the cornering loads besides often supporting most of heaviest single item of a car, the engine. Weakening it by severe lightening seems is rather counterproductive for a cup car, or even a one-time 12? mile hill climb car.
It never broke. It held. It’s fine. The guy that built this also built K&K ins Daytona and many other nascar raced cars. Plus few hill climb cars. He was even kind enough to give my Chryslers blue prints for the 68-72 carsExactly how would one know what failed to cause a car to drive off a 14,000'+ mountain?
