Hey everyone,

New to the site and new to B Bodies. Just acquired a 1969 Coronet R/T and looking forward to working on the car and interacting with you all.

Car was a California car its entire life until about 3 years ago when it was sold to a new owner in Ohio. Fast forward to 2025 and I’ve brought it to the east coast with me in Massachusetts.

Car is in pretty great shape especially the body. Thank you California weather! All body panels are original, looks to be the original interior and was just recently painted.

Non-numbers matching engine, but has a 1969 440. Tbd on the status of the trans, still need to look.

Right now just doing basic repairs so it can pass inspection. Headlights, reverse lights, exhaust etc.

Will try to keep this thread updated as I work on the car and make improvements!

Welcome from Texas!! Been to Plymouth Mass....I'm from Taunton but that was a LOT of years ago. Was disappointed when I saw the 'rock' that was so small way back when lol

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. Nice looking '69 R/T! It looks like it has a Vintage Air A/C system added. The side scoops being painted black does not work for me. I bought a '69 SuperBee new, and it had optional side scoops painted body colour. Thank you for your pictures.

that is the reaction from the majority of folks seeing it for the first time.

That was my immediate thought when seeing the car as well. I honestly don’t love the side scoops at all and prefer them without, but with mine already having them, my plan is to paint them body color eventually.

Cool car !!!
Whats with the pie tin ?
Trying to be a Sleeper... :poke:
Haha, no idea the back story in that. I’ve been looking for an orange 440 Magnum pie tin, but they are ridiculously priced. I have a decal on order and will make do with that until I can find a reasonable pie tin.

I’m guessing the 440 came out of a C body or something because it’s non HP stamped and also painted the turquoise/blue color. Maybe I’ll get it painted orange one day.
