WTB Looking for another car that tickles my tastebuds

Well, I found something locally yesterday that's not quite what I was originally looking for, but it's a neat car just the same. This car does tickle my tastebuds and will give me something to work on over the winter. It's a very low mileage survivor that's in need of a good douching and some TLC. Being 58 years old (build date August 67) the exterior does have some flaws. I'd say that it's a 10 footer in looks and will make a good driver. The reality is that I'll probably drive this around more than a much higher value high performance car. Going to pick it up on Tuesday & I'll post more pictures & in a different thread when I get it home.

The original wheels and wheel covers come with it, which will replace the mags.

If that was a woman, as a wise man once said, "I'd eat that"!!

The 318 ain't gonna make the cut! He will get bored with it pretty quickly. I see a 500 cube RB, a 4 speed,a Dana 60,a sixpack, and a lift off hood in that cars future. After the tour in the survivor tent, that is.

Some of my favorite cars of that era were low miles, factory small block 2bbl automatics, left bone stock.
If you weren't expecting much in the way of high performance you weren't disappointed. But if you wanted a clean, comfy cruiser for date night or a Sunday drive they were tough to beat. That is a beautiful and well preserved example sir, I hope it gives you lots of pleasure.
