1962 New Yorker Station Wagon - NOT MINE - but it Interest's me...

I like it a lot! Gen 3 hemi swap?

Too bad it's 3000 miles away.

Seems a very reasonable price. I'd be wary of a scam.

If I bought it, it would be in the paint shop for a full paint. Not a fan of 'patina' jobs. The SW deserves a real paint job, IMO.

I LOVE 4-door hardtop wagons! The Newport wagons were 122" wheelbase, while the New Yorker ones were on a longer 126" stretch. You would think the extra 4" would show up as more footroom in the rear floor pan. But, this extra 4" shows up entirely in the nose. A New Yorker has 4" longer front frame rails, front fenders and hood than a Newport. This car appears to be the shorter Newport.

Saw this one at the Nats a couple years ago. Simply outstanding.

If anybody is interested, I can help you get this one. It’s in central Michigan.

Nice. That's a New Yorker. The Suburban next to it is neat, too. A buddy of mine did one up. It is all newer Corvette, underneath.
There’s about 1500 old cars and trucks there, lots of great projects to be had. It’s a great yard, and everything is for sale.
