Im working on a customers 70 Bee. It has a 426 Hemi swapped into a 383 car with the stock K frame. The drivers side has a solid motor mount.
Is there any way to install a rubber mount? Has anyone modified the B Rb k-frame to accept a rubber mount. What are my options? It's a street car and we don't want those vibes from a solid mount.

Been running solid mounts in my Bee since 1979. If someone can feel any difference from rubbers I'll give you the car!

I have the Schumacher units for my 65. Running a 70 v-8 K-frame with an Indy aluminum block which is Hemi style.

Don't modify the K-member. Buy Schumacher mounts.
I did not realize they made a kit for Hemi to standard V8 k frame. I've used their small block to big block a body moounts before.
Thanks.

I've driven solid mount cars and I could definitely feel the difference.

I would think that is one of their more popular since Hemi K-members are hard to find and expensive. I used them once on a Superbird. They were the best fitting parts of the build. The fan was perfectly centered in the shroud.
