I'm getting conflicting information on the 1970 Coronet R/T dash.

I dunno but if I ordered an upscale R/T and it came in with the sweep speedo and then went and looked at a budget Super Bee and it's standard rallye dash I would have been ticked.

I don't know if its been mentioned but the dash frame is different between the sweep and ralley gauge clusters on the 68-70 b bodies. You can't just swap in ralley gauges on a sweep dash unless you find a donor dash and deal with the VIN number. I suppose cutting and welding could be done though to make it work.
In 71 the b bodies shared the same dash frame for the sweep and ralley gauges.

I was thinking of the 68/69 Road Runners not being available with the rallye dash until 70. Trying to keep the facts straight on all these different models after doing this for 45 plus years is getting more difficult as I get older. I knew that the rallye dash was available on the Coronet R/T cars as we had discussed the emblem before. Lol maybe my helmet was on to tight. Lol

About that tach....

I remember when the "repro" sweep speedo tach came out.
There was some discussion about whether it was actually a factory option.

Was it?

my car came with a clock..... I kinda like it

I also have a tach on my shelf, not sure if it works.......... I suppose I prefer the tach

a blank spot there is unacceptable

does every 68-70 Charger come with a rally dash? if so, are they all 150?

Don't we have a member or two with 1970 "XH" base Chargers?

...one with a bench seat?

Interesting how in 69 they went to 1-15 numbers on the sweep speedometers on the GTX's and RT's.
