Be patient. You will find the right one. I asked a young lady from church out in 1975. She had been dating a guy but I thought it was over. We had a nice dinner at a restaurant and went to a church dance afterwards. I got a couple of dances in with her and then she disappeared. I waited around for about 45 minutes before I saw her out on the dance floor slow dancing with this guy that I thought she had stopped dating. I thought, well that's that and started to walk out to go to my car. I saw him walk out shortly thereafter alone. A minute later, my date(?) comes walking out, looking around. She sees me and asks me where I was going. I told her that I saw her dancing with the guy she had been dating after disappearing for 45 minutes. She then told me she was talking to him to break up for good. She did the dance with him to let him know they were done for good. It was interesting. I stayed and we danced. We dated more and had our discussions about our differences. This next week, we celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. She always helps me with my cars. She's helped me install engines, transmissions and interiors. A keeper!

I’ll bet that a lot of us have been out of the dating scene for awhile now.
I have.
Things have changed a bit and not all of it is good. It used to be that women were more reserved about their sexuality. Nowadays the way it seems, many are empowered by it. We grew up with the Sears catalog and maybe Playboy. Nowadays any guy can get on the internet and see naked women.
There are stunning, beautiful women posting nice pictures of themselves, many that are outright tramps with a body count far higher than most of us have. Some use their sexuality as currency to get meals, drinks, clothes, cars and jewelry. This is of no surprise to many of us. A smart guy can see the red flags and walk away.
As far as “morality issues”, I’d be horrified to stumble upon some website with 30 year old graphic pictures of my woman but I’m sure that does happen.
When I first got divorced, I was 27 and happy to be rid of the fat carcass of a woman. I liked playing the singles game but 3 years in, I was tired of it and wanted a keeper. I used to read of the places to meet and all of those places still exist today… grocery stores, churches, parties, through friends and of course…. Bars.

I am late to this party, but I’m 23 and in the fair but limited experience so far I’ve had with women, it quite often varies. Reserved/conservative women still exist but they are few and far between, lot of women now are just very bold when it comes to sexuality.

Which can be a double edged sword, it can be a turn on or turn off, depending on how you personally choose to look at that specifically.

That story is done. 2 months ago I met a woman at a festival…. and I mean a real woman! She’s 9 years older and very adult mentally. Also hornest and knows which is important in life. That’s what I always wanted. Did I found the right one? I don’t know yet but everything speaks for it at the moment
