Anecdotal information only, based on small sample size, but when I drove these things as transportation, the PA weather and road salt ate the cars up long before the factory electrical components failed.I agree, there are estimates of a life span but again, these are not absolutes.
I agree, it claims "Made by an original Mopar / Chrysler supplier" so even if thats true doesn't mean its exactly the same as stock. I just impulse bought it so we will see how it goes.FWIW that appears to be an aftermarket replacement
