I can tell, the journey is the best part. Again, looking forward to the progress. I’ve liked all of your past projects. I’ve got to say, through the years, and now, when I have the time, I like to indulge in creativity, for the wife and myself. Take care and enjoy, sir!
I just don't have the space to dissect a car anymore. This will do for now!! LOL

Heck, it doesn’t have to be a car or truck, it’s something you enjoy doing. I love it when the little lady or one of the kids shows me a picture of something and ask, can you make this? It may take a while with everything going on but, I’m just gonna have to make it happen. I know what you mean about space. I went from an 8, to a 4, to a 3 car garage, with 2, 10 x20 storage units and only 2 vehicles are in the garage. I have to be very strategic, as when I pulled the pickup apart and put it back together. It’s always worth the effort. Have fun and keep on keeping on!

I got a job over a picture once. The man said, I'm told you can build anything from just a picture. I just looked at him as he pulls out a 2 inch by 2 inch picture from his desk drawer of a 12 foot convenience table he got out a better homes and garden magazine. Brass inlay, 3 inches thick with a 1/4 inch inlay piece, that ran all the way around with a trestle base. Believe it or not, that table bought me enough respect to last a lifetime. I worked there for 23.8333 years, till I was asked where I wanted to go. I said home.....

Stupid question… but did anyone remember or have these?

Of course. Schwinn Stingray single speed here and a Schwinn Fastback 5 speed later (like the 3rd bike back in your photo). I remember the Crate cost more, but I didn't like the small wheel and forward rake bars. I did the mods on this bike myself with lawn mowing money. I remember the fork extensions were $4 and the sissy bar was $7. I got $2 per yard and dad supplied the mower and bought the gas. Don't let my diminutive stature fool you - I'm about to push that tree over!

Edit: I also mowed our yard but didn't get the $2. Instead, I received stuff described to me as 'food' 'clothing' and 'shelter'. Kind of a scam I thought. They were already doing that before I was old enough to mow the lawn.
