As the title says.

Is there anyone that has shipped anything to the US from cananda recently?

I had previously always used Canands post with out problem . Unfortunately they just seem to want whine about anything right now....

Not only that there are new rules for shipping anything to US?

Just wondering what people are doing?
Thanks

NOPE! Some couriers are refusing South Bound. Those that will, anything over $100 must be shipped by a business # and you must prepay the 35% Tariff at our end. Maybe the two clowns will work on that this afternoon...

Maybe the USA president & that clown from north (Canada) will work it out today
still gonna' be tariffs, by both sides

Whoa, whoa, whoa. It takes 2 clowns to make a circus :drinks:

But ours is a full time clown, and yours spends a lot of his time taking out the trash. ( highly commendable)

A friend had a starter quit on his 2000 something Charger, just before he was going to the Nats. Bought one somewhere from a dealer while there, it was made in Canada, no tariffs coming back.
Someone stated that if something was made in the USA or Canada and it was being shipped to the manufacturing country it would be tariff exempt.
I plan on seeking more information.

I ordered a idler bearing for my motorhome diesel engine fan belt tensioner from Prevost Bus company in Quebec via FedX. The first one three weeks ago got to Ontario Ca then got stuck at customs. It then was sent back to Quebec WTH. Waited for Prevost to get it and credit me then reordered it again. It has been over a week and the tracking shows it is back at Quebec again? I called FedX twice during all this. They told me tonight that it is not in Quebec and in fact on its way to the USA even though their tracking shows it is at Quebec. So yes things are a real mess right now. Tariff's are not new for USA purchase's of Canadian parts. We have paid tariffs on Walinga feed trucks and parts out of Quelp Ontario since 1979 when we bought our first one. They make the best feed trucks built so quality costs you just factor the tariff cost in. We never had issues like this though getting parts shipped across.

All I'm looking to do is ship some parts i have made , value under ,, $100. Before I would send them via Canada post , mark them as gift, and everyone was happy.

Never used anyone other shipping company. Guess I will have to wait a bit long see what happens with this postal strike.

So take money paypal for the product, use the net parcel system built into same and see what couriers come up and price. Generally highly discounted, but I haven't done one since June. Then ask the buyer for the shopping cost..
