Joining this party late but that Charger looks awesome. I didn't see any mention of engine. Is it built and ready to bolt to your trans? ( I mean if the trans is done of course) I too weighed the consideration of dropping the engine thru the top or raising from the bottom. Up from the bottom isn't as bad as some would believe.

Staying stock 318 going to be a cruiser. Charger has AC and a member here is about done with my tranny. Dropping the engine off this week to be built and broken in. Dropping engine through the top.

Worth considering....I mounted my built 440 and 833 together in an elevated cradle of 2x4s with a little tilt to it to compensate for the front frame rails. I would guess is 8-10" off the floor and rolled it under the front end. How did I get the front end high enough to slide the combo under it? I used eye bolts thru the front shock towers with a chain and engine hoist. I used the same technique to detail my undercarriage since I don't own or have room for a rotisserie. I just lowered the body down until I could get the k frame to bolt up. You really need two people to do it but it was scratch free!

Todays mission was door to vent window felts.. My felts were toast. @dadsbee had a great write up on this. All I can say is PITA.
