Looks to be nothing special
I beg to differ. It has a hideaway trunk. Very rare.. It has no trick options.
I was thinking Crown Vic swap, wouldn’t feel like a crime with this car.Put it on a Schwartz or Art Morrison chassis, and have a pro touring Charger
By late 70s, car is getting rough, so mud it up, replace sheet metal, use as winter car till early 80s.
Damn wish you I wasn’t so far away could use the grille assembly for my 70 R/T if I decide to keep it ratty and make a driver out of it...ehhhh grill missing some teeth... bumper a core at best
You can retire now after grabbing the 69 Charger R/T that was hanging around. Here in Western NY, this is how it goes. Buy car new in 1970 and drive year round, right through the winters. By late 70s, car is getting rough, so mud it up, replace sheet metal, use as winter car till early 80s. When springs go through the trunk, junk it and get another car. The guy I've been getting these cars from kept dozens upon dozens of cars like this to keep his fleet of very nice mopars alive....most simply got crushed around here.
Yes, it sucks, but that's New York living as a Mopar guy.
Imagine if these were nice cars still...70 V code black 4-speed roadrunner, 70 500 charger, and real EK2 R/T Charger. I could retire.
