The original owner couldn't remember why. His memory is going.
I could see that the radiator top tank was leaking. That COULD be why?
In his garage was a box with power steering components, and another box with power brakes. It could be that he was going to add both but gave up.
Dave just reminded me.... It had a Line-Loc and a drive shaft 1/2 loop installed! And the torsion bars were cranked up at least 8 turns!

This one just sold at an estate sale in Hummelstown PA for $3,800 plus 15%. It's been sitting in this garage since 1989. It has 33k miles on it.
