A great car is the star of a new TV show coming in May 2025

There was no real cliffhanger.
I won’t spill the details of the last episode but they did set the stage for a story line for the next season. Unless another network picks them up, it won’t happen.

Sort of surprised that it got cancelled so fast, after being in the works for five years and getting favorable reviews. At least none of the four Dusters used in filming got blown up.

If FUBAR could make the second season, then this show should have been able to as well.
:)

Well I finished it tonight, without spoilers I’ll say some parts had a satisfying end and as KD said they set up for more. I can take it or leave it so if this really is the end I’m ok with that.
I think they screwed up and had an 80s Challenger in a traffic scene which is too new for the era.

The trip to the city (Las Vegas?) did have some cars newer than the show's timeline but I let that slide.

I always look for things like that in period pieces, that and after being in extra on some shows and a couple of movies I look more for continuity errors or other weird things, like the same random background guy walking behind the lead actors 5 times in a scene.

Anyone besides me notice that the steering wheel was cracked on the blue belvedere?
Oops, a 4 or 5 year old vehicle in the show and the steering wheel looks 50 years old.
I'm not quite finished with it but the show does grow on me.
I wasn't too enthused after the first episode. Waited a while to try it again.

Mama and I finally finished watching the show last week.
By the end we were disappointed there wasn’t going to be a season 2.
We thought it had a decent plot, but all the old cars really did it for me.
I’d watch it again for the old cars alone.

I remember when Dusters were affordable.

Yep,that was the whole joke behind Al Bundys Dodge. It was a cheap everymans car,and a first car for a lot of kids when it was new. Al had his since high school and was still driving it 15 years later and was also still stuck at the same job he had in High School...selling women's shoes and dealing with obese customers. " Dad its just for the summer".
Ed O'Neill owns the "Dodge" used on the show. (The 1972 Plymouth)

Looks like Anthony Kiedis washing the windshield. I wonder if the show (Duster) would have been more successful if it had been called "Road Runner".
