Add the photos from the top bar of options....
I was screwing around last week, and it worked.
Funny how loading pics from my phone to my 'old' LT, I have to rotate them before posting but adding them to my newer LT, they load just fine. So....we'll see.

When I used the 'options' from the top bar, it took my old LT a very long time to load the 1st pic but using the 'add photos' button at the bottom, the next two loaded much faster. I dunno lol

They still sell them, at like Summit & Jegs too
so there must still be a market...

uncomfortable SOBs,
even with the thin foam under the covers they used to offer
Sitting in them with no foam seems to fit me ok.....but wouldn't like using them without some kind of 'good' cushioning.

Summit & Jegs
Got mine from Summit. Got brackets also. 2 different cars. One car no pads the other car pads. Ok for a racer. Not the best for street. Did that for awhile then went to regular buckets when I went back on the street.
My 2 cents.

Had stock mid 70's 'A' body seats in my 68 roadrunner race car and they were very comfy!

It has been a while since I have seen them
in a Stock or SS car.

Years ago, I Saw a racer come right out one of those plastic seats
in a wreck and cut his head clean off on the rear package tray.
It bounced right down the track with his helmet still on it.

It would not be my first choice = Even for my Golf Cart.

If I had to run one, I would reinforce it with a metal cage for
support.

My .02 = For Free

I use my poly seat weekly for over 20? years, with a 4-point harness, on my 5K Toyota Diesel warehouse forklift.

Use of a Poly seat in a car other than for looks, IMO is ill advised. Seat belts need to very strong to retain a driver experiencing high G forces in many directions against a stronger immoveable object, like a seat.
If the seat moves/flexes, the seat belts become almost worthless, and a poly seat moves big time.

I recently put a set in my car. I found them to be pretty comfy. Not sure I’d feel the same if I were on a 4 hour highway drive, but for a race car, they make a lot of sense.
-weight
-safety
-budget

I'm old school.... and old. Poly seats in three of my cars, one set so old they are low back.
I've got some Honda seats I could put in the Savoy, it's heavy enough that the extra weight wouldn't matter, but I don't want to add weight to the other two..... and one car has the seats mounted straight to the floor for headroom.
All of the seats have added foam under the seat covers.

Forgot to mention. ALL the poly seats are tied to the rollbar/rollcage., as are the five point three inch harnesses.

Agreed. Some type of back brace is needed. I had mine braced.
Nearly 20? Years back a number of the high end $1K+ racing certified composite seats (RaceTech 4009HR) were offered and promoted with only requiring bottom of the seat or lower side seat mounting options. At the time that seemed a bit risky. Stepped up seating requirements today pretty much out dates single location mounting, and nearly every seat now has to be firmly secured in multi locations, ie braced.

I never liked the poly seats as much as my Kirkey seats for comfort. Mine with custom made 70 Challenger style covers.
