I saw this photo somewhere and reposted it here, oh, I dont know, maybe a year ago. I thought it was a great snap, evocative and so 'period'; just loved the image. [and yes, I liked the car and thought/think the girl is quite attractive from what I can tell also...]
Anyway, Mr Photon440 saw it, musta liked it too and decided to work his "photo magic" on it and really improved it. The image you see above is after he 'fixed it up'. Apparently, his 'new and improved ' version must be making the rounds on the WWW as obviously Mr torredcuda saw it, liked it and posted it. Girl in the pic owes Mr Photon440 a commission er sumpin for extending her fame! :)

There might be another version of it but I found the original pic on FB, saved it to my phone and had Gemini restore/enhance it and posted it here.

Interesting. Thought it looked maybe a little different from what Mr Photon440 did, but assumed it was just a better copy than what I had. Thats what I get for assuming...
So if you saw the original, was there any story to go with it? Enquiring minds want to know... :)

Unfortunately most of the old photos I find and repost don`t have a story to go with them.
