for those who know, does OER’s Tic Toc Tach have the continuous quartz movement or does the second hand tic?

My tic toc tach is no longer the original and because I disconnect the battery when not in use, the tic toc second hand has stopped working and I’m trying to figure out if it’s cheaper to send out for fixing or just buy a new OER tic toc tach.

And since I disconnect the battery when not in use, would it be more reliable to have it updated to quartz movement? Trying to figure out what caused the second hand to stop working.

Besides Redline in CA, any good repair shops closer to IN?

If that isn't available, better talk to Dana over on FABO , maybe he can 3 D print one. He just made me some wing vent door panel plugs, perfect.

Check out DadsBee’s Super Bee restoration post in the Restoration Forum, it’s pinned. I followed his directions for removing the clock hands. If I remember, it kind of just pulled off, but it wasn’t the original clock so maybe why it was easier. But check the post out.

I see the clocks’ hands in the background,Did your second hand pull off fairly easy? Mine is stuck and is giving me trouble with a pretty good amount of pressure pulling on it. Any suggestions?
