I have a pair of seats with functional tracks, original black cover material is decent with one crease and minor split on the drivers. The seat backs are missing on both and no fasteners.

Sorry, I don't know the Corvette market. Photos sure would help.

The only thing I know about corvette seats (from the brief period when I thought I wanted one and test drove about a dozen...) is that they are frequently in pretty bad shape on "affordable" cars.

Therefore, they must be expensive to repair/recover or more people selling cars would do it.

A guy at my shop has an 87 and the driver's seat is somewhat twisted and the back and forth mechanism is super loose.

Ill post some pics here soon. These were in a Model A coupe I bought recently and went a different direction on the seats. The sliders work fine, just wish the seat backs were there and I would consider them complete.
