Looking to upgrade my 74RR. 15-17”. I’m looking to get a visual for ideas.

My set-up is:
Rears - 15 x 8 Welds with a 275-60-15 Tire.
Fronts - 15 x 3.5 Welds with a 27 tall x 4 Mickey Thompson ET street radial.

Dan is the one looking. Me, I've had similar combos on my cars for 50+ years.

I agree on 15’s but wanted to give myself more tire options so I included 16s and 17s. After seeing the 17s above I think that would be too much wheel. Peter Bergman and Bergmans auto told me the 73/74 b bodies could take up to 295’s no problem. I am looking to get as wide as I can in the back and probably a little narrower in the front. I wasn’t sure on profile. I do like the look of the 60 profile on @71Beeper above. I’ll wait to see if someone posts 50s.

I figured the wheel and tire forum was more appropriate and didn’t want to limit browsing to just 73/74. The 17” above showed me what a 17” would look like.

I have mostly 15s on my stuff, but I really like the looks of some of the vintage-styled 17" stuff. Five spoke 17s on my 55.
I don't think I'd go bigger than the 17s though, unless handling and big brakes were a premium consideration.
