I almost bought a "JFK" thunderbird from a St Pete JFK museum that was closing down.

The 68-70 body is one of the few cars that I like the 4 door better than the 2 door.

Probly cause of suicide doors.

They're kinda awkward, but I like em.

I like the 4-door, with "Suicide" rear doors, better. '67 or '68 my favourite. Kinda looks like a private limosine. I can't get past the "beak" on the '70's.

Loved the tribute scene with Nancy Wilson in Fast Times

I like the 'square birds' 64-66
'bullet birds' 61-63 were pretty cool looking too
not a big fan of the 'baby birds' 55-57 (If I had to a 57 would be OK)
or thru 'fat 4 eyed birds' 58-60 are all too bulbus
or later then 66, when they became LTDs with a beak, smog machines

Boss had one in Hawaii. I used to drive it to get beer on Friday afternoons. Was a late sixties model.
Early sixties I discovered they used a 312 T bird motor in the Ford passenger car. I bought one and stuffed it in my 37 Ford.

I notice there is like no following for the 90s but I dig them. My dad has a 93 that has been in storage for 20 years that he bought new.

They are the last of a cool 2 door car that you don't see today. I dig them and I think they have more style than a mustang

This isn't my dad's exact car but it looks very much like this one

I would buy that in a heartbeat. Except it would cost half the asking price to get it to WI. Can't drive it here anymore, salt season has begun. I would daily that thing to work all summer. Might not be the fastest, but it would be like driving my couch and do righteous burnouts on demand.

I owned a 1960 with the nicest red paint job. Every car show I entered, I came home with a trophy. Sold it about 2003 and it now resides in Canada.

I thought it couldn't be that bad, with similar specs to a 440 magnum.. so I found a carlife road test. Yikes! 16.75 @85! My Dad's bone stock 68 300 would pull 14.90's @ 95 reliably.
Ahh the perks of being a Mopar guy.
