All - I'm in the early stages of looking into a car restoration. The project is a 1975 Plymouth Fury Sport 2 door that my father purchased 30+~ years ago.

We can do a lot of things mechanically, however body work and paint are not our strong suit. We spoke with a company about doing some rust repair work on the quarter panels and both doors, but they thought it might be best to look for remanufactured or good quality used parts.

I'm in the midwest - who has some good insight on where to get body panels for a car like this?

There are no new quarter or door panels being made for this car. A good body shop will be able to make patch panels from steel sheet.

Of course you can scrounge salvage yards, etc. but it's not really worth the time.

You will be lucky to find floor pans. I’m doing my 74RR now. No body panels are available. I know that’s not what you wanted to hear. We have fabricated a lot of things. Fortunately the car was in pretty decent condition.

Welcome to FBBO. As much as I love the 75s (and 76), the fact is that Plymouth didn't produce them in large numbers, and as such, parts are quite scarce. (IMHO, the cars were rare when new).
Regardless, outside of fabrication from scratch, options are want ads and networking with other owners who hopefully have a stash of parts for sale.

They're out there. I've seen a couple on FB Marketplace out my way. Keep looking, they'll turn up.

Hey, the FBBO clan loves to see pictures. We'd love to see that Fury! ...and welcome to the clan!

Welcome to the site ! Perhaps a few pics may help. But understand, that particular model is not one that has repro body parts, you'd have to search for decent salvage parts. Costs for body and paint will put you well beyond the value of that car quickly, but a labor of love is worth it. Good luck with your endeavor, hope to see you succeed !
