Rotating headlight bearing

Hi all. I’m in the process of replacing the nylon rotating headlight bearing. I can’t figure out how to remove the turn signal housing. Is there a bolt from underneath? If so how do I get to it?? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unless you are removing the turn signal housing to rebuild or paint behind it
you can simply de-pin the wiring harness and slide the headlights out
you will need to de-pin the plug any way to slide the wires through the new bearing

Just squish the prong/ barb in .

Ok will give it a try and get back to you. But is there a lower bolt holding the turn signal housing?

Yes there is. Removing the bumper makes it alot more accessible.

They make de-pinning tool sets
I have one and on todays cars its a "must have"

However this particular style is easy to de-pin with out a special tool set
As @RemCharger has said, squeeze the pin and push it out

Some of the jobs that need to be done look like they are going to be simple but end up being a lengthy process. Being patient and handy are the main things when on working on our cars.

Sorry, I'm a little late to the party, but if you haven't worked it all out yet, here's a little info for you.

Pin Removal... The pins have an angular slot cut into them.
First identify the slot so you know which side to compress.

For these tight fittings, I like to use a simple screw driver to push on the lock and compress the pin. They bend pretty easy, so no worries there.

Once you have the locking side of the pin compressed it should slide out fairly easy. They've been in there for years, so you may have to give them a little tug at first, but most of the time they just slip right out.

You will have to open that slot back up again now prior to reinstalling it so the pin will lock back in.

The Turn Signal Housing itself has 3 screws that hold it in place... one on the bottom and two at the top.
