yes sir with readings pleaseI have two, Want pics?
Looks good. After seeing some of your posts on the site it seems like you’re knowledgeable on these ignition systems. Let me ask you something, am i correct in thinking this would be a good ballast for an older 4120505 module? Im using a blue streak uc-12x coil.
I have yet to get it in my hands but the uc-12x is rated at 1.4 ohms. As far as RPM’s, this is going on a mild/daily street car rarely ever going over 4000 RPM so im more concerned about reliability. As far as the 1.2 i seem to remember reading something about that value being good for daily use and values below 1 are for racing, but i dont know if that pertains to certain modules or coils.. my head is kind of spinning from everything ive read on this. In general, you should have a resistor of less value than your coil right? And the lower the value of the resistor, the hotter the spark but more taxing on the module/coil? One thing im really unclear on is how this all pertains to the different variations of ECU modules. Thanks for your inputIt will work but you will loose RPM's. .5-.8 is what I would use. Checy your FSM for the exact requirement. Why the 1.2 then if you were unsure?
The higher the resistance, the less RPM's you will get out of a ECU Have to watch under .5 will cook the ecu, that is race only where it cools down between passes.I have yet to get it in my hands but the uc-12x is rated at 1.4 ohms. Gotchya. With these going on daily drivers i think i probably want to stay at 1.0 and above.. do you have any with the metal strap style?OK in a nutshell

Now the colors are for mopar only. Paint on the ECU's after market are whatever. no dont go by them.
