Hello all just wondering if anyone came up with a way to stiffen rear suspension on a rear charger without redoing leaf springs something like coil over shocks maybe air shocks whats worked for you ?

No.
The crossmember in place for the shock absorbers was not designed to carry the weight of the car, the shocks dampen the movement, they don’t support the car. Replace or re-arch the springs. As an alternative, if you’re crafty, you can add one or two leafs to the spring pack.

Bilstein shocks and HD springs. I know you don’t want to redo leaf springs, but that’s really the only correct way. You can also add a larger sway bar, but be careful with that as too big is not necessarily a good thing.

QA1 TS901s work like a champ... and the TS501s are great for the front. That and a 1.125 sway bar - which can be over the top for many - and it'll turn like a honeybee. No matter what... at some point you have to address the springs. The shock mounts are not strong or stiff at all.... and eventually will become the weak point.

Depends on what you are trying to do with the car. As mentioned, re-arching the springs or the addition of a rear sway bar is the way to go. On one of my cars that is a street/strip car I went one step further and added a weld together welded in anti-roll bar.

Nice job!! Did you tie in the shock mount to a roll cage? Hard to tell from the pic...
Anyway... the sway bar you have there is excellent and exactly what I'll probably end up doing. The one I have now it pretty darn good (Hotchkis), but not a tube.
Also, looks like Caltracs shocks (?)... great for drag.

Thank you. Yes, that tubular cross bar serves 3 purposes. 1) My rear window down bars tie into it from above through the trunk pan. 2) It incorporates the upper shock mounts. 3) My anti-roll bar is welded to it.

Check with hotchkiss or PST for their stronger shackles. Removes some play. You could install a poly bushing, but that might get harsh feel in car or squeaky. I had one in a car back in the late 90s. Don’t remember the ride well enough to say if NVH was bad.
