Ditto on the Remflex! I had one set go more than 10 years without a leak and never once tightened them after the initial install. They probably would have gone longer but I swapped the heads out.
I've had my 75 Cordoba for almost 17 years now. The original owner and second owner lived across the street from each other near Tarpon Springs FL, the third owner had it for less than a year and never registered it. I bought it from him in Feb 2004 drove it almost 50 miles to get it home and...
"all 71-79 B bodies, 71-74 E body, 79-81 R bodies use basically the same floor. That being the full floor from firewall seam, to rear footwell seam."
Does this apply to the trunk floor as well?
I installed a TuffStuff a few years ago, I wouldn't recommend them:
1) I didn't want chrome but it's all they had and they didn't know when "as-cast" versions would be available.
2) The chrome started peeling after about three months.

ake sure you are using a low-impedance (0.8-1.2 ohms primary resistance) coil specifically for Mopar electronic ignitions. If it's an off the shelf "universal" (aka Chevy) coil it'll have too much resistance which will overheat the ignition box and shut it down. Hopefully the ignition box wasn't...
I had almost this exact same issue quite some time ago, make sure you are using a low-impedance (0.8-1.2 ohms primary resistance) coil specifically for Mopar electronic ignitions. If it's an off the shelf "universal" (aka Chevy) coil it'll have too much resistance which will overheat the...
The good news: Someone actually makes it.
The bad news: I just called the local dealer and he says their system shows they're out of stock. However, he's placing an order with them this week and will let me know if they have an estimated stock date.
If you manage to find a windshield let me know! I've been looking for one for almost three years now. Other that a small chip is fine but, due to what I suspect is a bad spot in the sealant, it has developed a leak (a hard enough rain and water is pouring in) and no one wants to remove a 45...
If you are using a "factory" style flexplate you need the weights but, using the weights with the flexplate above will result in an imbalance. Both Mancini Racing, who I bought my original 2200 RPM converter, and Hughes, when I upgraded to 3500 RPM, confirmed this.
Actually the flexplates, balancers and everything else on the bottom end are the same, the only real differences are the provisions for a roller cam, lack of oiling for the LA rocker shafts (these are drilled on a crate short block, I can only assume that they are for the long block too) and the...
