    Factory big bolt pattern demon

My question is if anyone else has ever seen a big bolt pattern 8 3/4 a body that was factory.

    Factory big bolt pattern demon

I’m not sure why they would have. They were bone stock mostly original cars. They were also on separate ends of the state. The cars were only 20 years old at the time. They were not b body rears either because we installed the axles in the rear we already had.

That’s true but what are the odds of finding two sets? Both are completely identical in length, spline machining etc. what are the odds of two machine shops replicating factory taper identically? I’ve saw dozens of axles that have been cut down and resplined and every set did not match with any...

I’m not a member. I just happened to see a picture of a demon today and it reminded me. Funny how something like that brings back a memory from 30 years ago.

    Factory big bolt pattern demon

In the early 90’s when my dad was building his duster drag car he was looking for 8 3/4 a body axles. On two separate occasions we found big bolt pattern 8 3/4 a body axles and both were in dodge demons. I’m not sure if they were 71 or 72 or 318 or 340. My guess is they were possibly late 72...

Rear slick size for 66 Belvedere

29x12.50 will fit under a 65 Plymouth Belvedere with a 15x8,4.5” backspace. They’re tight but fit with no rubbing. 28x10.5” fit really well.

    Paul Rossi engine

Maybe so, but I’m not paying a premium price in something with no paperwork on the build. I would be more comfortable just buying a core and building it myself. It could have been a quality built engine or a junk low compression that was never rebuilt with a new set of 906 heads.

    Paul Rossi engine

Update. This engine sold for $3450. I quit bidding at $400 after Paul Rossi himself said “This is not my work “.

    Any one running 325 50 R 15 on 69 Coronet Superbee's?

Air shocks but barely any air in them. They are connected together. It’s never been raced. The track closed years ago. It’s in the process of reopening now. The car was built to run 7.50-7.80 1/8 mile.

    Any one running 325 50 R 15 on 69 Coronet Superbee's?

I’m not sure what the dimensions on 315 or 325 are but I have 29x12.50 x15 on 4.5” bs wheels. No rubbing unless I air down. When aired down they slightly rub the spring clamps. If I was buying tires again it would be 28x10.50.

    Paul Rossi engine

I’m hoping the heads on this engine has 2.14/1.81. I’ll have to wait and see if I get it and then make a decision on what direction to go. It all depends on what is inside. I hope it is something around 10.5:1 compression. The 383 in my car now is 12.5:1 and not very street friendly.
