Change the filter to a Wix and fill it up with VR1 20w-50 (or equivalent) and get it warm and see what the oil pressure is. 10 LBS per 1000 RPM is the minimum standard. You want at least 50 lbs at 5000 rpm.

If its an automatic car, you will need a floor hump and a set of pedals as well. A matched set out of a Charger would be ideal, especially if everything works good. The clutch may still be good. You will probably need new front and rear seals as well. You will need the correct shifter, depending...

It is hard to mix and match on the Mopar 4 speed stuff. Try to find a matched factory set up for a '67 or '68. Its never cheap on Mopar stuff.

All of these old cars are toys. We all probably had a toy police car. I say it has more value than a non police car small block coronet. The car is what it is, restore it for what it is, and enjoy it.

I have had power steering pumps that people put ATF in, and they howl and leak, from what I can remember. They are not interchangeable.

Power steering? I don't think that you put ATF in a power steering system. Use power steering fluid.

Good price, fair price for window, gasket and installation. I paid about that much last year.
