64-65 heads use a different valve cover than 66-71. The 64-65 are referred to as K heads. 64 were iron and 65 aluminum but same configuration. The 68 race hemis used the iron street hemi head with alot of compression and a crossram. 1965 was the ONLY year Chrysler would ever have an aluminum...
68's never had scoops just the louvered fresh air. It could be raced in the Modified Production class with an added scoop but not in Super Stock. Pics in post #23 show the 68 in B/MP.
2dr post, 6cyl/auto, manual brakes and steering, 15" wheels. It was painted prior to 2002 per previous owner. Very straight, rust free including floors and trunk. Runs and drives nice. Chrome has pitting but straight.
